We understand that during this time you may not feel it is appropriate to attend our classes in the Center. There are many challenges and stress factors that weigh on us; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
We are opening our classes for you to participate in from home! We want to extend our support to you and allow you to be within our community of yoga.
Logistics to participate:
This is what you need to do to prepare to be in class...
pre-plan time for class
phone, I-pad, laptop or computer
quiet place in your home, facing sunlight or lighting (this allows your teacher to see you).
each class will list what props you will need, please have them ready before your class
Lets talk a little about behavior...
Please wear what you would if you were in class here at the Center. Please put your devise on mute. We have a chat function you can use, if you have questions. If you need to leave class early, please log out of Zoom on your device.

If you are a student of the Yoga Center, you can use your existing classes. If you need to purchase classes see below.
This is an asana class. All postures taught will be demonstrated first, then you will be guided orally through the pose. You need a mat, belt and blocks, and chair for class.
You need a chair without sides or wheels, belt, blanket or towel, and near a wall or support so you can hold onto it, if needed.
This is an asana class. All postures taught will be demonstrated first, then you will be guided orally through the pose. Shoulderstand is taught with alternative pose given for those not going upside down.. You need a mat, belt and blocks, and chair for class.

Core & Weights: January 2, 16, & 30. Class uses yoga asanas to strengthen your core. Class ends with weight series to tone your upper body. You need a mat, wooden dowel or belt and a pair of 2#, 3# or 5# dumbbells.
Savasana & Pranayama: January 9 & 23. Class covers various ways of taking Savasana and guided breathing is taught. You need 4 blankets or large towel or one blanket and one bolster, 2-3 blocks.
